Blessed with an all-powerful system, a harem of beautiful, adoring women, and a future paved with easy victories and triumphant battles. That’s what I was promised. A cosmic redo, a chance to shed my pathetic skin as a cynical, basement-dwelling hater and finally live a life of consequence.
Only… the script was flipped. The so-called "goddesses" were laughing, and the "destiny" they handed me was a sick joke. The power I received wasn't for fighting dragons; it was for something far more interesting. My path wasn't paved with gold—it was littered with the shattered remains of my own foolish optimism. The people I was meant to save became my betrayers. My allies were my first enemies. And the world I thought I could conquer became a relentless, mind-breaking grind set to hell mode. It’s funny, isn't it? When you're a professional hater, you think you've seen the worst of humanity. This world showed me I was just an amateur.
My greatest weapon isn't a legendary sword or a fire-spitting spell. It's a collection. A Pokédex of souls I've captured. I don't catch monsters; I capture people. Not their bodies, but their very will. There's a moment in everyone's life—a moment of ultimate despair, a crushing betrayal, a total loss of purpose—when their spirit shatters. I learned to recognize that moment. I learned to harvest it.
These aren’t mindless servants. They are broken, remade, and eternally loyal to me. They possess all their skills and memories, but their core motivation is now just to serve my will. They are my ultimate pawns, and their loyalty is not a gift; it's a consequence of their suffering. Some call me a monster. I just call it a different kind of grind.
I'm not the only one playing this game. I've found others—fellow misanthropes, each with their own unique brand of villainy. We meet in lavish, hidden dens, surrounded by wealth we've stolen from the foolish and the weak. We scheme, we lie, and we laugh at the stupidity of this world. We are a gathering of villains, but we don't even trust each other. Everyone here has a secret.
But there is one person in this world who stands out. A paragon of justice. The handsome, charismatic hero with a tragic backstory and unwavering resolve. He’s everything I was promised. He’s the chosen one with the absurdly powerful "Friendship" ability, and he's my nemesis. He’s a flawless archetype. Too perfect, if you ask me.
This isn’t a battle between good and evil. It’s a fight for the narrative. The hero believes he is the protagonist, destined to save this world. He's so sure of it. But I'm the one writing the story. The only way to win a rigged game is to become the game master. This is my second life, and I'm not playing by their rules. I'm making my own.

Love the game, love the story. I hope that other aspects like relationships, managing your businesses are more shown than in the game. As it is the first gta5 fanfic that I have ever read, I hope that the story is not dropped.
