Getting through this was a struggle. From one paragraph to the next little things like removed organs changed. This is written as though it happened I the USA but it is obvious the writer didn’t bother doing even basic research. In the USA people can live on dialysis 3-5 times a week until a donor is found or the person dies. Also you don’t just get to decide to donate a kidney spur of the moment. All transplants have to go through extensive testing and even direct donation requires the testing and matching. Blood type is only one of the requirements for it to be a match and any organ transplant requires anti rejection drugs for the rest of the recipients life. And transplanted kidneys are not a lifelong fix. The kidney will stop functioning eventually. The rates are getting better, I believe it is now 10-20 yrs. They also have to test for various illnesses and/or infections because things like HIV, and cancer, if present in the donor body, can spread through the recipients body.
