Honestly starr dakota has developed themselves enough as a writer you don’t need to check reviews, you probably know how they write, legible writing, complete thoughts, everything a native english speaker does with the odd sense of edginess dakota has yet to let go of, if you like starr then this is a safe novel for you, it’s just nothing has changed, the writing has that vibe that slowly makes you not want to comtinue reading that bleeds into dakota eventually dropping, dakota if you want advice from me it’s that you’ve been slowly climbing out of uncanny valley for good storytelling, the characters are just off enough that dialogue feels awkward, the science aspects are elementary enough that it doesn’t add anything, the edgy style always feels like more of an act, it’s mainly just finding the balance of genuine and cringe for these characters
