Overall I love this book, It does a great job of developing the characters and building aN interesting world with different realms and storylines. Currently, Though, I really dislike the current volume. Instead of following Roy, the main character, in his wars with other demon lords, establishing his position with them and exploring other territories, we Follow Sareth, who I consider to be at best a side story and at worst a useless plot point that only served to add a small amount of extra detail to a world. I’m actually disappointed that the auther took so much time away from Roy and all his potential stories and adventures to add in a storyline about someone who isnt necessary. I understand that he may end up being important in some future plot but I am not reading this book to read about Sareth, I am reading about Roy and his Demon Journey.
