Yeahhhh.... author's reason for nerfing the MC is kinda lame.. if this was an ASOIAF fic with water powers than sure but this is a PJO/ASOIAF fic so... nerfing for the sake for nerfing really turns off people. Read a fic called Ship of Theseus on a certain site starting with Q and you'll get why nerfing sucks.
