This story reminds of Beluga. (You can watch it on youtube). There is a mystery in this story and the MC Max has to solve a murder case. I am not sure if it should be in the Martial Arts section. I like mystery stories. Hope the author updates at a faster pace though.

Started out good. Liked all the math stuff but story takes a nose dive in the 2nd half. The story is marked complete so I can only assume the end was the ending. That end was terrible. In other words if this was a murder mystery, the killer is never identified and got away with it. Read the free chapters and then stop there.

Though, the story went on an interesting turn with that prologue. I was expecting a slow burn, but it intrigued me is that it is set in this mystery thriller. Could use a bit more exposition for my taste, but overall it seems to be a good flavour of drama and mystery. Both things very integral in murder mystery settings. Not my cup of tea but hey at least I can read something that isn't Noir. But I digress, and it's a good read if you're looking for a classic murder mystery.
