The story follows a young man named Kaires, who awakens in the ominous and enigmatic world known as "The Abyss." He is surrounded by mystery and uncertainty about this dark world. As he begins to explore, he encounters other survivors, such as Demetrius and Amphitrite, who inform him that this world is plagued by dangerous monsters. They reside in a “shelter” constructed to protect them from these creatures. Kaires also learns that some survivors possess mysterious powers called “Revelations,” which grant them unique abilities or items that aid them in surviving within The Abyss. However, not everyone receives a Revelation—those who do are believed to have a special destiny.
As the story progresses, Kaires begins to demonstrate signs of possessing a latent Revelation power, sparking hope among the shelter’s residents. With the manifestation of his Revelation abilities, Kaires realizes that his fate is intricately tied to this dark world. However, the shelter’s supplies are dwindling, and they are compelled to venture outside to search for resources. This is no simple task, as the world beyond the shelter is filled with terrifying monsters and rival factions, including the mysterious “Revelators,” who seem to have their own agenda and wield powerful abilities.
The group, led by Hades, is organized into exploration, vigilance, and defense teams to increase their chances of survival. Hades and Shakiri, along with other key members such as Achilles and Demetrius, each contribute their unique strengths and skills to the mission. The shelter’s residents must work together to face not only the monsters outside but also the psychological and strategic threats posed by the Revelators. Kaires is burdened by his newfound responsibility, questioning whether he has the strength and wisdom to confront the powerful forces that control this world. The story follows their struggle to uncover the truth, survive in a world of despair, and confront the choices they must make for their survival.
