It's like a collection of short stories with recurring character being the MC. The stories themselves are quite nice and do generate the sense of mystery, but never the sense of crisis the situation should have. This is due to MC being too OP from the start. Nothing the author throws at him could faze him. That said, since they are a collection of short stories, it breaks the immersion everytime the author changes arc. Attempts have been made to avoid this, rather futile, by making certain characters recurring, making everything connected. But that just makes the story look like having a big slow moving background. These all are offset by the almost MTL translation breaking the immersion every so often. All in all nice book for pass times, easy to put down after the arc. But translation quality isn't to satisfaction
