Meh, this isn't bad. However, both Naruto and Sasuke have been working hard for the past four years had less/equal amount of development as lee had in 1 year and several months. Naruto almost passed out from Zabuza's killing intent but was okay with Kuramas, who last time I checked is the strongest of the nine tail beasts. The training in the academy was fine, but the results were underwhelming. They should at least be able to defeat Kakashi without the Sharingan individually. Yes, Kakashi is a veteran, but he is a stagnated veteran. He barely improved from the 14 years old version of himself and highly depends on his Sharingan. Kakashi can't use the Chidori without it. Overall, the power scaling is BS. Here is how it should have been. Author tried to imitate Warlock of the magus world but he ended up creating a novel that has same negative qualities, cliches, idiocies of other low class martial art novels. In simple words "a low class novel painted with the features of a good A.I novel"

starred out really well, but then the consistency issues started to happen, because the author needed harry to experience his hogwarts struggles for some reason. at first wizards are described as a failed experiment by the devils with only the most powerfull reaching high class. then the founders were ultimate class(very few devils even manage that). once harry arrives in diagon alley he says the average wizard is mid class and that there are quite a few high class around? i'm sorry but the author doesn't seem to understand the difference between those classifications,i would put dumbledore on the peak of low class maybe, sirius bella etc high low class, average adult wizards mid low class, owl level students beginner low class. there is a skill difference between dumbledore and lets say sirius but the power difference is there but its actually not that significant. dumbledores magic is not more potent than other wizards he just has a little more or can channel more and the rest is skill talent and experience.

The story has a unique way of portraying success stories, of lifting people out of the pits of hell. I love the way it transforms people and the way it puts people, high and low, rich and poor where they belong sometimes using force and at other times, subtly.
