Hi, I am Victor and i am a Brazilian. Up to a certain point, the story works well enough as simple entertainment. If you like Batman and don’t care too much about consistency or harem elements, you’ll probably enjoy it. But for me, everything fell apart during the League of Assassins arc with Ra’s al Ghul. Up until that point, the protagonist had barely faced any major villain directly (the Kryptonian doesn’t count). Instead, the reader spends chapter after chapter being constantly reminded of how absurdly overpowered he is: incredibly intelligent, capable of creating revolutionary inventions, super-soldier serums, drugs that enhance intelligence, AIs on the level of Jarvis and Cortana, and even mastering martial arts through photographic memory and a VR simulation that turns one hour into almost forty hours of training. On top of all that, he used a serum that gave him enough strength to lift around 60 tons, along with superhuman reflexes and agility, and he was trained for years by Deathstroke, Richard Dragon, and even Ra’s al Ghul himself. Naturally, the expectation was that he would finally demonstrate all of that in combat. Instead, the fight against Ra’s was a complete disappointment. Imagine reading a story about someone reincarnating as Bruce Wayne with the goal of becoming a better Batman, only to see that protagonist struggle against — or even lose to — Ra’s al Ghul despite having every possible advantage. The explanation given is that Ra’s became stronger through magic and the Lazarus Pit, allowing him to fight on equal footing and even surpass the protagonist. The problem is that, instead of acting intelligently, the protagonist chooses to fight him one-on-one. He doesn’t call his drones, doesn’t use the equipment in his arsenal, and somehow even forgets to bring his gadgets — something he literally complains about during the fight. To make things worse, he takes NZT, a drug that boosts his intelligence and mental capabilities, specifically to outsmart Ra’s. Then comes the most ridiculous part: Ra’s claims they’ve reached a stalemate and proposes that they both enter the Lazarus Pit and continue the fight there. If the protagonist wins, he gains all of Ra’s knowledge; if he loses, Ra’s takes over his body. And any reader with basic common sense can see how unbelievably stupid that proposal is. After everything the protagonist has shown himself capable of creating and accomplishing, there is absolutely no logical reason for him to risk his life just to gain knowledge he could probably surpass on his own anyway. The protagonist himself previously mentioned the possibility of building an Iron Man-style suit, not to mention developing improved super-soldier serums or countless other technologies. But for some reason, the story decides that the drug removed his fear and made him act “purely logically,” which ends up being nothing more than an excuse for him to make the dumbest decision possible and accept the villain’s proposal. After that, it became hard to take the story seriously. It gives the impression that future fights will follow the same pattern: villains randomly gaining new powers out of nowhere, the supposedly genius protagonist being artificially caught off guard, and conveniently ignoring the absurd resources at his disposal just so the plot can continue. If you are the author and happen to read this, please do not take this criticism personally or become upset. You have created a popular and successful story, and that achievement certainly deserves recognition. I am simply explaining the reasons why the story did not appeal to me personally. Regardless, I sincerely encourage you to continue your work and wish you success moving forward.
