This is very solid, exciting and suspenseful story. Raven is captivating, and the conflict is intriguing. The pacing keeps the reader engaged. While there are areas that could be strengthened, it makes the reader want to know what happens next. That is very commendable, given that it's very hard to do. Plus, Raven's past and her connection to the Brant family are particularly compelling, and I'm eager to see how those threads unfold. This story has a good foundation.
