two stars for just being disgusting ass nationalism.....this author CAN NOT HELP THEMSELVES. Legitimately, he watched the Great Wall Movie with Matt Damon and took it as a personal insult to himself and Han China. How Dare you damage the face of glorious China. I'm sure if I read just more the ending will be with him genociding everything not Jadeveil or whatever the fuck.

Quite interesting. She is not reborn or transmigrated and her background seems to be part of a larger conspiracy... again the sin of introducing the broody ML with no respect for life other than FL's is cliche and introduction is way too early. I don't know who started this style but you are now a sinner who has created a concept that a female cannot carry a story equivalent to how Matt Damon became the ML in a movie about The Great Wall.

I am disappointed in this story. I was expecting a non-human lead instead what I got was a human reincarnated into a parasite that took over a humans brain. There are several parts of the story that confuse me. 1. The romance: Originally Matt was dating two different women Cindy and Alexsi but when Alexsi got pregnant Cindy basically has not been in the story at all. 2. The sentient plant: The plant becomes a cat. I have no idea how or why. 3. Matt: There are two Matt's in the story The human Matt and the Parasite Matt; both are named Matt. It gets confusing as to who is being referred to. The human or the parasite inside him, or is Matt the human that is inside the parasite? 4. Matt's origin story(the possessed one) see what I mean?: All of his information was kept inside a box left on a flashdrive by his parents before they died and apparently the parasite was put inside him as a child. Matt somehow never checked the box and didn't know that he was infected. Also it was encrypted with a password which was the birthday of his first goat which happened AFTER his parents died. How did it get encrypted? 5. Alexsi: She was with Matt when he found out and didn't try to out him/ kill him. Instead she lets him infect her brain with a parasite. (one of his sub-bodies) Basically became his slave without much thought (in my opinion) even when she found out that Matt was manipulating her mind through hypnosis and her dreams. Now that being said I don't hate this novel, there are plenty of things that I enjoy about it. I was just hoping for more of an evil parasite, one who sabotages the ship and kills the crew. Like a plot from Among Us. An Imposter if you will.

Yhis is the funniest in the whole Wedding History. First Matt attending Bella's wedding ceremony. Then her Father scolding Matt and giving him a hint that he had prepare a wedding documents for Matt and Bella at the Civil Registrar and adviding him to kidnap the bride and for them to sign the documents. Matt had stopped the ceremony and abducted Bella with his friends helping him with the get-away car bringing them to the Civil Registrar to sign their Wedding Certificates

Honestly, I’m kinda disappointed with the direction of the story because transmigrating into Matt Donovan before canon should’ve changed the entire board, but the plot still mostly follows canon while Matt keeps feeling weak and reactive. A normal person with future knowledge alone could’ve become dangerous in TVD, let alone someone with hemokinesis. Matt literally should know: - where the Bennett grimoire is, - how important Emily’s necklace becomes, - Damon’s tomb plan, - the Founders’ Council secrets, - vampire weaknesses, - hunter lore, - future supernatural threats, - and where major artifacts eventually appear. But instead of exploiting any of that, the story mostly keeps him passive while events happen around him. Like realistically, a transmigrated Matt could’ve: - stolen or traded the Bennett grimoire for magical favors or protection, - built vervain immunity early, - manipulated the tomb vampire situation, - copied Gilbert journals, - hunted dark objects, - searched for the Phoenix Stone, - contacted vampire hunters or Brotherhood of the Five lore, - trained under Alaric or allied with Lexi, - infiltrated the Founders’ Council for access to resources, - collected anti-vampire weapons and enchanted items before the Originals even arrive. And with hemokinesis, he should already be abnormal even as a human: - controlling heartbeat, - boosting adrenaline, - suppressing pain, - improving healing, - disrupting circulation, - detecting lies through pulse changes. Instead, every advantage kind of gets wasted and canon still steamrolls forward almost unchanged except Caroline becoming his girlfriend. The frustrating part is that TVD is one of those universes where knowledge is basically a superpower. A prepared transmigrator should completely disrupt canon naturally just by exploiting loopholes, artifacts, alliances, and timing. Right now it feels less like “Matt Donovan with future knowledge” and more like canon Matt with spoilers.
