Made an account just to write a review! I grew up more of a Brandon Sanderson/Will Wight fan. Got into Chinese webnovels and then Korean and Japanese translations. However, in terms of writing quality, plot design and just overall flow Shadow Slave is right (write) up there with edited fantasy novels the ilk of Dragonlance. It's rare that novels get to attempt time-loop (?) and Shadow slave absolutely smashes this element! Or at least is on a trajectory to. Hope Sunny and Company keep up their adventures!

Could not stop myself from reading. Great story, cannot wait for more. One of its kind. On par with other fantasy novels like the sword of truth series, dragonlance series, the forgotten realms series, wheel of time series. Its just that of they all deal with the main character overcoming and surviving due to their point in the realms timeline or have prophecies that they accomplish along the way. But this story's character is defiant to the will of the world, which is why this story is unique. Much love to the author for the creation of this unique realm.

translation isn't great in some later chapters, even makes me suspicious of ai novel generation. says copper, then says brass. also, if you like dungeons and dragons, don't be surprised if you yell about the author getting true dragon information wrong. i'm guessing they read one or two dragonlance books and decided to make a fan fiction.

A must read. Picked from Daily Recommendations, it's a novel that has refused to let me drop it. lt drew me right into Aradale and Namura and into the souls of the characters. Full of intrigues, suspense and unexpected twists and turns which start the story all over on another level. A good mix of humour, even a heart of stone will at least smile. lt's a story of love, fantasy, history, comedy and loyalty concocted by a very splendid and brilliant author. If it were ever printed, l'd buy it and place it among my collection of Wheel of Time, A Song of Fire and Ice, Harry Potter, Dragonlance, Lord of the Rings etc series. This book is a must read but you have to be blessed to stumble upon it.
