If anyone wants to read a story of a truly intellectual MC like Roland, you should read the Harry Potter fanfic "Harry Potter and the Methods of Rationality" In the story Harry is adopted into a loving family with a doctor as a father instead. Living with a scientific background before learning of magic,he truly tries to merge science and magic together. One of the stories I've read that does such. RTW being the only other I think. Another truly good read. 👍
