Well, most war & military fiction books I read never discuss how war is actually carried out, but this book is a little different. No matter how advanced military technology and strategy are, the way in which a war is won is still exactly the same as when the first military organization was formed. War is won by maintaining and expanding its own Line of Control, while at the same time destroying and narrowing the opponent's Line of Control.
