It's definitely interesting, but... Just like the author said in one of the chapters about Draco being the villain being used a lot, in the same way, making Dumbledore a villain is also used almost always. In practically every Harry Potter fanfic in which there is a super powerful MC, Dumbledore is an extremely manipulative old man, who is not afraid to sacrifice everyone and everything for what he seeks. But man, Dumbledore is just an old man who is afraid, afraid of failing someone again, his paranoia is about that - of failing someone again like he failed Tom, of not being able to show him the path of light, and not about a new dark lord, as every fanfic claims it is. All his planning with Harry and his friends was to prepare him for the dark future that awaited him, while minimizing as much sacrifice as possible, so much so that he sacrificed himself near the end, so as not to have to sacrifice other people. Dumbledore was always a good man, and he did the best he could do. He was only one man, afterall. It's a bit annoying, since this fanfic seems like it's going to use the same premise as almost all the others - to make Dumbledore indo a manipullative and paranoid old freak - it makes me believe that these fan-fics turn Dumbledore into a villain just because they don't have enough creativity to create an original villain. But the story is still very good anyway, it's worth reading.
