so far so good, some of the stories I liked such as the suicide forest one, the one that seemed to be about the one possessed by jack the ripper or jack being demon possessed was also interesting.

I also read the raw version up to chapter 106. No one told her husband (the MC's father) to commit suicide. It was just someone from the Zhao family (I forget who) who told the MC's father that if they wanted the cancer cure, it could only be used by the MC's mother (who also had terminal cancer), but they were sure the MC's mother would give it to her husband. That's how the MC's father attempted suicide and failed. Secondly, only the mother forgave him (The Mother's Father). That makes perfect sense to me, but why? Because Cultivation is an APOCALYPSE for ordinary people. The MC's grandfather (from the Zhao Family) was a renowned businessman, ranked in the top 50 in his country. His daughter was favored by the son of a renowned and powerful cultivation family (the Zheng Family). But the daughter preferred the MC's father, who was very ordinary. To make matters worse, the Zheng Family suddenly had a very powerful cultivator (there are only 150 in the world). That was the beginning of the conflict between the MC's family and the MC's mother's family.
