'Born In Ruins' was a forgettable read. That was the only way Emir could describe the pages of the novel he had found himself reincarnated into. So don't expect your usual emo kid as the MC and come complaining later.
Good for about 120 chapters then the translation goes downhill. The story itself is good and the use of devil fruit combinations is great. But it’s ruined by the low effort translation, it’s old people saying “this old man thinks” or “this old man says” instead of “I think” or “I say” or it’s everyone one described as “blank” guy, such as “this strong guy” or “this tall guy”. Also the dialogue is really clunky and borderline unreadable.
