I am sorry to say this for those that enjoyed it but the thing that ruined this story for me was the romance. I've seen so many great stories get messed up due to romance especially if it wasn't originally a romance novel or the author didn't fully plan for the ships and progress. The Mc always ends up making decisions based on the love interest and of course this requires more skillful writing of emotions. Plus there is always the annoying plots of people wanting said love interest and becoming antagonists based on silly basis like face slapping(which is still funny mind you. If well written). But the most annoying and terrible thing is the effort the authors always put in the so called beauty of mc's love interest. From goddess to fairy and unimaginable form. I get it's fantasy but come on, especially for novels of non human Mc they end up thinking like humans again or the story ends up getting derailed! By the way in such stories mc's love interest more often ends up with a human form...😑 which in turn eventually makes the Mc take on a human form. Mc can still have a team or close friends from whom love interest can be developed. Best example I've found on webnovel is RE-EFN. The development between Dorian and Helena was not complicated and easy to understand. All in all just don't ruin the novel with unnecessary details and plots. A story can be just as good and even better without too much romance. After all the whole going to another world theme is an adventure in and of itself so make it one readers will not forget!😆👍
