A chinese novel that doesnt sound like a chinese novel... There is no spiritual concoction heavenly realms fifth dick nerve qi power blossom fvcking useless exaggerated leafy cringy chinese medicines. Just your old plain solid good story. Direct and explained real world details. Plain but not cliche.

I've read all the raws, and if I had to compare it to something, I'd say it's around the same quality as Genshin Impact: I, Heavenly Principle, Will Make Teyvat Supreme. The MC is overpowered from the start and goes down the route of conquering other worlds. The harem is pretty decent too. It's not one of those Pokémon collection harems where every female character gets picked up by the MC. If there's any downside, it's that the story starts with the Heavenly Court route, so Chinese setting is the main theme early on. That said, the cultivation stuff only really shows up in the Mortal Realm Chapter. After that, it feels a lot more like Genshin Impact: I, Heavenly Principle, Will Make Teyvat Supreme, focusing on gods, mythologies, anime/game characters, and world conquest. Also, later on, the MC goes down the God route as well, with things like the Kabbalah system, angels, demons, etc. So while the story starts with a Chinese setting as its base, it doesn't stay that way. As for the translation, I've already cleaned up most of the terms. Even things like "Heavenly Court" and "Heavenly Emperor" were changed to "Celestial Court" and "Celestial Emperor" to tone down the Chinese flavor. The only exceptions are a few titles that can't really be altered, such as Yaochi, along with Chinese names. So unless you really dislike anything Chinese-themed, I'd say it's a good read. This review is mainly to clear up the misconception caused by all the Chinese poison out there that makes people think every Chinese-themed novel is going to be trash.

Good novel with pretty realistic characters. It's normal Chinese novel where Chinese people are always above other countries. They're always more talented. But other than that, it's good novel. Castle system is fun. Also it doesn't reset everything to lowest level like other Chinese novels. There's no multiple layers of heavenly world that makes MC weakest person over there like most Chinese novels.
