I love this novel. I would call it a forensic cozy. The fl is likable and a competent professional. Though the forensic level is more 'as seen on tv' than Patricia Cornwell, it is written well enough to be believable. The focus is as much on interpersonal relationships as the cases, it is not grim, but rather warm. There is also the added spice of book transmigration. Very readable, I can't wait to read more, hope it's picked. 🥰
