Interesting read overall. But you don't have to use the words "supernatural" and "steampunk" constantly. An example would be a steam powered rifle. It's not necessary to call it a steampunk rifle. Steampunk is a kind of genre/art style. I feel like the story would flow better if those could be changed.

Novel soo good that you will forget that this is a chinese xianxia novel. Mixed with steampunk and fantasy imagine diablo set in a xianxia world and add some steampunk and little bit of math then youll get this Gem. There are no unreasonable young master and the elders/ancestors of the clan doesnt butt in to the younger generations quarrel unless they also want to fight other old monsters. Skills are reasonable and they can explain why that skill works.
