Returning to his empty family home in Miyagi Prefecture he does his research and finds a local high school that claims to have the best setter in the prefecture. With that in mind, he applies to Aoba Johsai. Having once again failed to defeat Shiratorizawa in the Interhigh Finals. Aoba Johsai looks to retool and double down on what they do best, however, with the arrival of a new transfer student will they be able to keep going as they have, or will he push them to new heights?
