I liked the story. My favourite part is that the main characters didn't spend all the time trying to get back to people who wronged them in the past. Bad people were punished and had bad ending but that was more the result of their bad decisions and not MC's doing things on purpose to trap them and get them in trouble. Family focused more on getting their lives better for their children than on revenge. And they were successful, their children and cousins all had bright futures, they were also hardworking themselves, and generally good people. Timeline advanced faster than in novels with similar time travel plots, main characters watched their children grow up and start their own families.
