the novel overall is great, but the biggest problem for me is how the author try to make relationship between the mother and lee become meaningful and the family drama surrounding them, all of it is utter garbage. like how the mc somehow enraged by his mother being insult, enough for mc want to kill the insulter even try to hunt them. but there is never situation or interaction where the relationship is good enough to justified for the mc somehow react that way. I mean the mother literally left him alone as a MINOR. SHE IS A BAD MOTHER. but the author insist to make their relationship to somehow meaningful even thought it's not. the FAMILY DRAMA is an annoyance at best or the biggest factor that ruined the story at worst, at least for me it almost ruined it. except the family drama and relationship garbage, the story is great. just left the mother she is useless character.
