read till chapter 110 Smth, overall it is in the pokemon adventures manga universe ,it is pretty system heavy ,it assigns quest and even threatens to kill his pokemon if not done which sucks .. romance is nice with cynthia pacing is also pretty fast he became a champion level trainer by now , able to defeat/challenge red who just became the indigo champion so that's good. . . . . one of the worst thing about this translation is that it sucks at knowing the names , red and green(Gary equivalent in manga) are called ash Nd Gary and it seriously ruins the immersion since knowing the name Ash makes U think he is gonna be incompetent since it is in kanto region but no Ash(Red) is as competent as he is in adventures red so that sucks , also in one sentence his pokemon evolves then in the other it returns back to its previous evolution, this is seriously annoying since it happened too many times. . . .oover all fun read if U want a fast paced story with clear romantic lead even if nothing major happened btw them yet
