What's good about this novel? 1. Large world, many features of which was taken from chineese mythology 2. The story itself is not new, but has something that makes it interesting. 3. The main character is not "good" or "bad", he is capable of risking his life to protect someone he likes as well as mocking, tourturing and even killing he's enemies without hesitation, that also adds some realism to the story. Here are some flaws: 1. "Chineese-like" style, and self-repeating, sometimes with exactly same words. I'm not sure if it's the translation's fault or the novel itself, but it stops after 600-700 chapter. 2. Strangely, it's chineese mythology again. I'm not a huge fan so sometimes had a little too much of it. Overall it's a good story with good character, wery chineese-like style and passable translation. I would rate it around 3.9
