The writing is very tight. For a first novel, this doesn't read amateurish at all. I can sense some Joe Abercrombie in there and I'm a fan of stark and dry humor. Adding it to my library.

One of the best stories period, this author wrote a book that can be compared to some literature greats such as Brandon Sanderson, wit of Joe Abercrombie, narrative skills of John Grisham(although not quite as complex) and the pure joy of Robert Kings world building. Butterfly Blue and his translaters did such an amazing job in localization which is so many time underappreciated. Hats off to a must read web novel...lol on my elitist views to say what I never believed could happen .
