It has a lot of potential, but it is very painful to read, the dialogues don't seem natural and expository, not to mention that it seems to treat the reader like an idiot for always repeating information.

It’s bit too expository for my tastes and a bit for a lack of better words cold though the coldness of the writing may be on purpose to help build up the protagonist. It is enjoyable but I wish it was less telling and more doing especially as hogwarts, and (pseudo) family are skipped over.
