Not a child pretending to be Ron — a grown man, fully aware, with all the memories of a life already lived and the complete knowledge of a war that hasn't happened yet.
He knows how it ends. He knows what it costs. And he has decided, quietly and with considerable patience, that it is going to cost significantly less this time.He's can't fully stop it — he's not Dumbledore — but he can make it hurt less.
The plan: Destroy the Horcruxes, Keep Sirius alive. Harry gets a better life than the books gave him but most importantly make sure to bring everyone home in the end.
What he didn't plan for: genuinely loving this family. A father who finds Muggle engineering genuinely miraculous. A mother who notices everything and says exactly as much as she means to. A sister who says true things directly and takes his cooking personally.
Traveling with his siblings. Cooking lessons in the Hogwarts kitchens. Languages acquired overnight and a camera that catches the moments nobody else thinks to photograph.
Friends who turn out to be more interesting than the story gave them credit for — Harry, who is braver and quieter and funnier than anyone gives him credit for. Hermione, who argues with him as an equal, which is her highest form of respect. Neville, who is right about things more often than he knows. Luna, who says the true thing in the voice of someone who has decided the truth doesn't need defending.
Becoming someone worth being.
And falling, slowly and completely, for a girl who has been watching him the whole time.

I appreciate your story a lot, especially it has done justice by not pairing Hermione and Ron cause Hermione is intelligent and mature character while Ron is stubborn and selfish and one question is this a romantic story between Max and Hermione? Because there is a unfilled (#??) in tags
