I tried to enjoy this novel, especially since it wasn't one of those overly saturated stories about wronged MCs seeking revenge. What made me stop reading was the author insisting that the characters' entire motivation be their younger sisters, like "I have to go to war to reclaim the city so my little sisters can grow up..." The sisters don't even have a story, and some are so young that it's hard to say they formed a bond with the main character. Anyway, it's a shame, I thought it had potential.
