To help Ye Xiwen resolve a rent dispute, he negotiated with Wang Xuefei, president of Yingjie Group, and unexpectedly fended off extorting gangsters, winning her approval. Even a video of him chasing the thieves went viral, earning him the mysterious title "Running Emperor"—a secret he kept carefully.
In the process, Wu Yifan got tangled in several emotional ties. Mu Xiaoyao, a 16-year-old, insisted on following him, admiring his "kung fu." Fu Junyao, a hot-tempered policewoman, clashed with him often but softened as she saw his abilities. Ye Xiwen, initially looking down on him, gradually trusted him and felt a subtle affection for this miracle-working security guard.
With the Enhancer’s superpowers and his own shrewdness, Wu Yifan handled crises like fake alcohol poisoning frames and gang revenge. Quietly, he went from a laid-back guard to a hidden expert who could control situations.
