A unique kind story. Can't say it great but it's definately good. Author has introduced time travel/time jump/time slip (for me time slip is better ). Often we see many authors write about time travel/time jump/time slip but they can't express their ideas and themes by world building. Suppose if their story took place in present and then future, they couldn't make the world building futuristic. But here Author did a great job. He successfully broke the curse. His future world building is cool. If he could expend that that would be great. Also seeing MC transform from a normal 2016 teenager to "My family is missing. I'm missing" and "what the hell is happening" panic after travelling to 2026 is great. I mean in many time travel story after a sudden travel in past or future most of the MC's are like- Meh... Oh shit I'm in past/ future. What will I do? Oh... yeah... I will use my advanced knowledge and will become a rich man and live my own life. But here the author successfully portray a sane persons reaction after a sudden time slip. KUDUS TO HIM... And bro, the detail of her carrying around Shipping Wars novels while the world is ending? That’s the kind of dog-shit, weird realism that’s actually on another level. But the sudden shift from 2026 to 2126 was kinda rushed. As if the author got bored of the "present day" and rushed to get to the "cool sci-fi stuff." If the author could have expanded on the 2026 time period and MC's confusion of many things because of 10 years of gap that would be great, Also her mother said about "This world is going to end soon" if instead of just time sliping into future we got a glimpse of the ending, it would have been great. Also for me if we she could have stayed in 2026 for more time with her mother it would have been great. Because of it MC's losing her family didn't feel genuine to me. Even if she thought from 2026 to she will return 2016 again. It would have be great if author could spend on charcter development instend of world building. As if author is using time slip as a way to skip over character development.
