the regulators novel

To be honest i was waiting for the earth sector arc to finish and victor becomes the true emperor of earth before making a review but i decided otherwise. ok first of all this novel is no masterpiece but it is an amazing novel with depth in characters. All of the main characters, basically mc and his wives have their personality, perks and what they are good at. I am satisfied with the progression of harem. Tho at certain arcs it did felt like pure pokemon catch for harem members but man i like profane prince of domination and that novel was quite something with its harem as well so in comparison, the harem depth of character is far higher then like most if not all 'ma**ive harem' novels. Wives even though would never ever reach the same level as our mc but they get really really strong so while reading the novel you dont have to worry that his harem would be useless. You can trust the author with the power progression. power progression for victor is not really as in depth since he became a bl**d dragon. Sometime i feel like he can obliterate solar systems then next he is shown to literally create multiple galaxies and destroy multiple galaxy at the same time. His lovecraftian form is only at 'baby state' as of chapter 937 but dang it is so op. His cosmic horror essence literally lives in one of the dimensions inside of mc soul and that dimension literally has a literal 'universe' where all of mc concept exist as stars. In his baby state of cosmic horror victor's intuition says that even primordials will have a hard time killing him which is amazing but since it is a baby state and he is already an 'universal' ent*ty, i kinda dont know if author will make infinite omniverses or outerverses like how the actual lovecraft books denoted their ultimate gods and their domains in chaos and void. If author plans to do something similar but with victor and his wives, this would be so amazing but as of now it is really hard to say what author will do. To be honest a little info dumps about sectors, galaxies, universes, regulators of existence and their exact powers would be great. Right now as an average reader, we kinda dont really have any actual numbers or even an range of beings and their power level. Like example: high level combat gods = continental / multi-continental powerhouse god kings are what then? we are never told can they destroy planets, stars, solar systems, etc. No range for power is told to us readers so when any fight happens, we just dont know what type of pure power of these gods truly possess. same with primordial gods, can they destroy stars or galaxies or multi galaxies. Kinda would appreciate some character name drops or cla**es of powers and their full power outcome towards the universe. in case where regulators do not interfere and strengthen the planets and galaxies. What would be the raw destruction powers of these gods. I would like for author to actually make a chapter and give us this info dump so we can better imagine some hypothetical fights for our mc. for victor's power. I personally don't like to visit mtw fandom and check his powers and abilities all the time coz he just has so many abilities. It would be appreciated if you could make an extra chapter for victor's abilities itself. Like i get he has power over 100 percent of creation and existence. But all the manipulation like wind, fire, water, light, holy, darkness, unholy, void, time, space, death, etc etc. i would prefer you would just list this manipulations for victor so we can go through the list with the confirmation that since it is listed here that means it is absolutely certain that victor has these abilities. sometime i find universal tree talk about a new universe where his daughter is young mentioned, during the time victor became a bl**d dragon. It was also an edited chapter but that universe was actually left their. The sector which witches actually connected to was actually a new young universe which has a low rank sector? sometime these chapters just make me scratch my head as to what sectors really are, sometime i thought its just a planet, then i think its galaxy then i think its a universe, it gets all mixed up. anyway i really hope as victor is just growing and has only recently became a god and his cosmic horror is only baby state but is already an universal ent*ty. i would love to see the extent of his power in full action even as he currently is, in future when baby becomes child then teen then adult then elder. The pure power would be something to look forward to, i hope we see some multiversal destructions and stuff. That be so cool. i hope this novel goes for 2k to 2.5k chapters. I wait for this novel's chapter everyday. i be really sad if it ends soon. at least 2 to 3 years more author, i know u can do it haha. thanks for making such an amazing novel.

2 stars because the translations and release stability are pretty good and great, respectively. Now on to the problems with this story. This story basically turns into repetitive garbage spewing a quarter of the way through when the lottery system was still a thing. Beyond that it's just lines and lines of "people" reacting in unbelievable ways to trivial things. MC releases new song, show, whatever and it somehow becomes the hottest thing ever. Uh no. What makes something good isn't whether it has never been seen before or if it's innovative. The entire cultural and societal context needs to be taken into account. The author does this by effectively writing, "The people have never seen this and what they have right now is boring and repetitive, so when the people saw the new thing they like it and ejaculated their pants in disbelief over how much they like it." Now repeat that for hundreds of chapters. The only good moments are when more believable things happen. I can actually believe the incredible surprise when he solves a complicated math thereom on the spot or unleashes a computer virus. The problem with those moments are the forceful and terribly shoved in nationalism/racism/propanganda. Now I don't judge a story by the actions or morals of the characters. That would be ridiculous, but the story never develops why the MC is so antagonistic towards other countries. He just is. It is painfully obvious that this specific trait of his is Chinese propaganda either to appease Chinese regulators or is just the author's personal beliefs. Whatever the case may be it is a disservice to the story, and we are reminded of it constantly. There is also literally no world building at all. This is probably because the author is making things up as the story goes. Since this is a webnovel that is most likely the case, and it only worsens the story. Now some of you may be saying, "Yeah, but this is just a power fantasy webnovel why so harsh?" Well, unless you highly identify as a Chinese national with great dislike of every other country (especially close Asian neighbors), and love to antagonize anyone and everyone over the smallest things, then you probably won't relate to the MC. It fails as a power fantasy indulgence for almost everyone outside of China. It reads like a practice novel written by a freshmen English major. Worse of all, it is just plain boring most of the time with xookie cutter repetition. I don't see how anyone can really enjoy this unironically with the exception of that small demographic I pointed out. *I didn't proofread this review because I couldn't be ****ed to do so for this novel so bite me.
