A wonderful and imaginative world full of fun characters. The story is truly a hidden gem. The character work and how we see the cast grow is wonderfully thought out. The ways on which our loopers cope with a repeating world is great. The world building is also quite inique. An industrial world with magic is simply brilliant. The ways in which magic is incorporated into technology and daily life is great. To add to that, the magic system follows concise, hard rules, making it creative and understandable at the same time. The writing is fantastic for the most part; however, near the end of the book, more and more inconsistencies show up. Unexplored plot lines and repetitive language are a minor problem, though I don't believe English is nobody103's native language. I would consider this a must-read for fans of not only progression fantasy but speculative fiction as a whole.
