I have some advice for you junior. Good MC is an MC with Unique personality or power. From what i read so far. MC can use any type of magic and thats not to good from my perspective. I mean he use water but easily master a fire magic. U must use some logic or the story will get inbalance. I prefer he use one or two type of magic that will always be his. Not all type. Thats make the character looks good but lack Uniqueness. Maybe he can use thunder type combo with his water. Well you are the author so you are the God in your own story.
