Ethan Blackwell always knew his life wasn't quite right. Both his parents died so early he didn't even know their faces as all his life he was raised by his grandfather– a mysterious man. He was the record holder of the oldest man alive, at 130 years old. More striking however, were his vermillion eyes. The eyes Ethan had inherited and something that shouldn't be possible on earth. When a tragic fire claims the old man's life, Ethan is left with nothing but a dusty, misshapen monkey vase. He didn't know it was a 'Realmcaller'. And he definitely didn't know it would drag him and his classmates into a fantasy world and split his very existence.

i really like this book from the hollows perspective and the idea of the artificially becoming real. This novel is good but needs better updating stability.

TOP QUALITY STUFF. The novel is an alternate universe if Ichigo learns about hollows/reapers/Quincy before his mother was killed and both zangetsu and hollow-Ichigo cooperate... Its extremely interesting how things changed with this point. The author is doing a marvelous job at it too, but i would like to be reminded of some info that he uses but does not describe, so to understand little things better one must go to the bleach fandom to search that stuff. SUch as that Uryu grandpa got killed by hollows, same as the original, but one asks... how did he die to a few hollows despite being a quincy?... Well, it was not mentioned but his grandpa had to fight dozens of hollows for over an hour, and he was already extremely old. So GG. Whats also very interesting and im eager to find otu how things change because Ichigo, Uryu, Chad, and Tatsuki (surprised) are already way stronger than original, even more so for tatsuki as she is no logner a nomal human being... Origime... Well, no powers up for her yet as of chapter 7.

I thought this was the written version of the graphic novel with the same title but it appears to be plagiarized. The chapter numbers don’t match up so one thinks that the graphic novel is being completed after it. But that’s not the case. I believe from what I’ve read that this is being stolen from the graphic novel.
