After reading through to the final chapter, I unfortunately have to agree with some of the comments here that Bagas's character is under-explored. Other than that, there aren't any significant issues, just a matter of preference. One of my preferences is that I don't really like his playing style. I mean, I understand that the author wanted to create a character with an ultra-aggressive playing style for narrative purposes, but there's a difference between aggressive and reckless. And yes, our character is often reminded of this in the story, but time and time again, we're shown that he can't resist his "desire" to play aggressively. My suggestion to address this issue is to make his playing style aggressive but still universal, like Daniil Dubov, Richard Raport, or Levon Aronian. If we watch these GMs play, it's clear they lean toward attacking players while still adhering to positional principles in chess. Essentially, as he advances, the definition of aggressive in his playing style should shift from aggressive and reckless with dubious openings like the King's Gambit to aggressive and attacking but still cautious, for example, with the Catalan opening.
