I just came here to say one thing: *FUN FACT* did you know that the pikachu that ash has, was prepared by professor oak because he time traveled to the future? while he was rescuing a unique pokemon it activated an ability that made professor oak time travel and while there he met and interacted with ash and pikachu, until nowadays he still has scketches on a old notebook

Ash Ketchum turns 10 years old and is able to start on a new journey as a Pokémon trainer. The night before Ash is to meet Professor Oak, he has a dream and breaks his alarm clock. The next day he oversleeps, which causes him to miss his chance at getting one of the three Kanto starter Pokémon: Charmander, Bulbasaur or Squirtle. However, Professor Oak has one last Pokémon at his lab, a Pikachu. Pikachu initially does not get along with Ash, but in the first episode, Ash saves Pikachu from a flock of angry Spearow and they become best friends, developing a special bond. On the way Ash meets Misty, the Cerulean City Gym Leader who loves water Pokémon and wants to join him until he pays her for her bike which was accidentally destroyed by Pikachu; and Brock, the Pewter City Gym Leader who wants to join Ash on his journey so he can become the greatest Pokémon breeder. Ash catches and makes friends with many Pokémon while dealing with opposition from the Team Rocket trio of Jessie, James, and Meowth, and his childhood rival, Gary Oak, Professor Oak's grandson, who is also a Pokémon trainer and always keeps ahead of him.

I tried. For the most part, 20 chapters in without any harem bs it’s actually pretty good. Where it’s ruined is the fvcking Ching Chong names everyone has. Like GARY OAK is Shigeru Oak, Professor Oak is Oak Yukinari, Nurse Joy is Joy Xue. Like wtaf is this garbage

This fic is good, but be prepare to a incredable slow pacing, I am at chapter 40 and nothing happen yet. Super minor spoiler, until now the mc isekai as Ash at 6yo discover the system and that professor Oak will do a pokemon summer camp and his mother allow him to go. That's it! Every thing else is just explanation to every... single... thing that happen or it's said or done. It's well written/translated if you don't mind things being repeated, Ash was surprise three times about the same thing in the same conversation.

The story was good at the beginning- although there were a few grammatical errors; however, the author started to put the wrong name of the MC every so often. Later, he changes the characters of Ash, Misty, and Professor Oak into naive, young master-like villains of some Chinese cultivation novel. It went from being a fan-fic to a somewhat original parallel world of the Pokémon world.
