This feels like a combination of dark and future timelines of pokemon. It also feels like modern and ancient pokemon, with governments and kingdoms. This fanfic feels like they just got pokemon within the last 100 years, and the league was just created. This novel makes me feel bad for team rocket. At least with them, the league would have a common enemy. Great concept for a novel, but I got a feeling that the champions are either evil or puppets that the league uses.

Hope this isn't dropped, I really liked a more realistic version of where interpersonal dynamics between physical power and political power intertwine in the pokemon world. Most fiction either have the League be completely good or severely corrupt. I also like how companies in the pokemon world are discussed which are really glossed over in most fanfictions. Honestly this fanfictions reminds me of story's such as Hard Enough by Viva01 or The Type Specialist by Incarnated Whisp. With the added uniqueness for how aura works within this fanfiction. Lastly the acknowledgment about how the league had to make concessions to gym leader families or important families before the creation of the league I found really breaths life into a actual function world. With there being the possible expansion or explanation from differing perspective that could really point the story into different directions. Example being how you could make a disgruntled person out the get these families works there way up the league to have the power to get revenge through the league. Anyway I hope this story isn't abandoned.
