Because in original ophis become issei mate ? So which one ? ignore the 1star and just focus on this the presence is arguably just weaker then issei, great red, ophis and a few others cuz those three transcend wukong along with the concept of Taoism and a lot of other stuff that dxd characters like issei have an argument for one of the strongest character in all of fiction

The fanfic is good, not EXACTLY the typical issei but a better version i would say, well is good and i hope the author keep the good job and that he keep going until the exe gods and all the stuff that happened on the LN where issei also is transformed into a actual humanoid dragon by great red and ophis
