empire falls novel

Overall, an excellent novel which falls short of Transcending the Nine Heavens, but not irredeemably short. The author's excellent, so even if he screws up a bit, the work at most falls to a four star instead of a five star. I just wish the translator would stop translating 'Soldiers' as 'Militants'. God damn it, the main image of militants is terrorists with guns! Every time I see the word 'Militant', my mood falls. The empire armies are starting to feel like groups of terrorists vying for territory.

Good story line and the characters are in very good spirits so to say. So far I love the book and think that it falls in the same category as the valerian empire novels. Only complaint I have is the rate of time it takes for the author to produce a new chapter. Otherwise amazing story.
