Beetlejuice does not hurt or hunt anyone who lives with the ones responsible for the crimes. He works around them. I've always wanted to write something in the vein of The Crow, Stir of Echoes, Ghost, or What Dreams May Come (Not a horror, but is actually pretty terrifying if you think about it towards the end.) Basic revenge ghosts sort of, but also focused on a moving on with life (or in this case 'afterlife').
