Its a new(ish) take on the overused Cultivation genre. I was told to read it while thinking of the movie "Water World", One Piece, and Kingdom Hearth's Under The Sea arc( the little mermaid). The is little to no flaws in the story telling, it might just a bit confusing to some the term used here since its fisher man themed. ex. the different level/rank of cultivators.
