Exagerated power-ups but still a weakling because there's gonna be that grunt that pop-ups after he killed that peon and the masses be like "ah the MC is done for good, he can't match this grunt" and then they come but killed in action, the masses was shocked and then more will pop-up. It's a vicious cycle and with it, is more chapters filled with rubbish. After this continental battle thing I bet that there will be more of that sh*tshow.
