I batted at the curl of smoke drifting off the tip of my candle and tried not to sneeze. My heavy velvet cloak fell in oppressive, suffocating folds in the closed space of the ceremony chamber, the cowl trapping the annoying bits of puff I missed. I'm bad at reviews so a haiku it is. I like this novel It is edgy I love it I will follow it Nevermind that's a bad haiku. Anyways although it was a bit exhausting to read the first few chapters because of all the foreshadowing, It stillt made for a good outcome. Characters are written well.
