This story might have potential, but by all that is holy, I can't feckin find it. I tried. I really did, but I couldn't get past chapter 10. If I had to compare the grammatical prowess of the editor to a functioning member of society, it would be equal to Jeffrey Dahmer. I gave myself a migraine attempting to process the massacre of the english language that is this story. If this story is ever picked through by actual editor, I might come back. It's highly unlikely, however, given the ptsd I am developing after walking through the literary equivalent of Auschwitz.

I dropped this after volume 1. I could not stand the unfairness imposed on MC. I mean, The Guide is there to guide the MC, so why the fakk it concealed the crucial info from MC but told to Female Lead??!! If it would be bad if MC knew the info then don't tell anyone, why the fakk the FL is eligible to know?? Whose guide are you, MC or FL?? Similarly in volume 2, FL became some gorgeous vampire. It's ok, she can be queen or empress for all I could care, but why the fakk MC became ugly monster. He could be any other common monster, why was the ugly one?? I did not read further, maybe it has some meaning, but it seems to me The Guide(or The Author) is biased to FL, not MC. This novel has Comedy as a tag, but this comedy comes from making the MC a laughing stock.
