It's like HunterxHunter meets Pokemon meets... Yu-Gi-Oh? ... No! Megaman Battle Network! Seriously though, good story. The author creates a world and a growth system that's a bit too convenient... Some solutions to problems are a little contrived... and the MC isn't that smart... but he's still like-able as he's not a dick. It was entertaining thus far, and I look forward to more.
