The mc is a side character at best. He doesn't affect the dxd world all that much. Heck the fights he's involved in are pointless to the story and seem to only be thrown in there to have fights scenes. And the worst part is that the mc keeps referencing the bleach world and ichigo in like every fight. I understand that ulquiorra is trying to figure out what "heart" means, but it doesn't seem logical to keep bringing up ichigo even if he knows this world works diffirently. I mean he read through one of the 72 pillars libraries and he still went on as if he knew nothing. Ulquiorra was smart in bleach here he's just a lap dog. He could just as well have not been in the story it would be exactly the same.
