I'm thinking the author has read allot of Nora Roberts novels. That's not a bad thing. She's written a cast of interesting characters that generally work together well. MC is a typical genius. Once again, not a bad thing. Any s.e.x. scenes are skipable for me personally. I can only handle a few every once in a while becauseI find them boring. But, there's allot of good feedback on those chapters from the other readers!
